My vacation has officially begun. I don't go back to work until Sept. 2! In honor of my vacation I compiled a list of top 10 things to do while your on vacation.

1. Play countless hours of video games.
2. Watch countless hours of movies.
3. Enjoy the idea of not having to be on someone's time clock. I am on my own time.
4. Get much needed work done around my house which will improve quality of life.
5. Go on a trip...far away from Cincinnati
6. Grill out
7. Hang with friends...and friends I normally don't get to hang out with cause of my messed up schedule.
8. Ride my bike
9. Enjoy a bonfire with friends
10. Drink Beer...woodchuck is the best

Went to a 80's themed party tonight. It brought me back to my childhood. I remember my pair of parachute pants and kangaroos, which I always kept my lunch money in the zipper pocket.

My favorite things from the 80's are the movies. The Breakfast Club, Goonies, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and many others. I think I will have to revisit those movies soon and take a stroll down memory lane.

Wow...the events that transpired tonight at ups was wonderful. This picture sums up my feelings about what went down. Enough said and Johnny Cash is my hero. Here are some more pics of him that I snapped on our Nashville trip.

So after two friends have posted their results from The Myers-Briggs test I thought I would post mine too. To view their results check out their blog at this is reverb and daphne photo studio

I am a ISTJ which stands for Introverted, Sensing, Thinking and Judging.

Here are some of weaknesses as a ISTJ:
* having a gloomy view of a future
* suggesting impractical ideas
* acting impulsively, and changing things without any thought
* having intense negative feelings towards others (though these might not be expressed)

Here are some traits of a ISTJ:
* Value tradition, security, and peaceful living
* Will work long and hard to fulfill duties
* Can be depended on to follow through on tasks
* Loyal and faithful
* Stable, practical and down-to-earth
* Family-minded
* Dislike doing things which don't make sense to them
* Dislike abstract theory, unless they see the practical application
* Natural leaders
* Prefer to work alone, but work well in teams when necessary
* Extremely observant, they take in facts via their senses and store them internally
* Vast, rich inner store of facts which they rely on to understand problems which they encounter in their lives
* Profound respect for facts and concrete information
* Make decisions objectively, applying logic and rational thinking
* Dislike change, unless they are shown it's benefit in a concrete way
* Have strong opinions about the way things should be done
* Appreciate structured, orderly environments
* Have very high standards for their own behavior and the behavior of others
* Not naturally in-tune with other people's feelings
* Able to accomplish almost anything if they put their minds to it
* Community minded "good citizens"

This next paragraph describes me perfectly:
ISTJs have one character trait which puts them at a definite advantage in terms of career success - Perseverance. An ISTJ can do almost anything that they have decided to do. However, there are areas in which they will function more happily and naturally. An ISTJ will do best in a career in which they can use their excellent organizational skills and their powers of concentration to create order and structure. ISTJs seem to fit extremely well into the Management and Executive layer of the corporate business world.

It will be 9 years in March that I have worked at ups. It is the hardest job I have ever worked at and I do the same thing everyday. But it is my job and I choose to work there for now. So I will do that job to the best of my ability. I am not saying I like working there. I deal with a lot of stupid shit on a day to day basis that would make my life less stressful if I didn't have to deal with it. Which leads me to my next adventure in life.

I have decided to change things in my life that I don't like. I started working out and eating healthy to get in shape because I don't like what I have become. I am working on changing my career which will eventually lead to ending my career at ups. For that to happen I have decided to finish my 4 year degree (I only have a year left) and from there I am going to pursue more schooling in the field of computers technology.

This is my messy garage...well I am finally tired of it being like this for over a year. Most of it is not my junk. My mom is what you would call a pack rat...she does not throw anything away...and it drives me crazy. I know that I am not going to spend useless minutes looking for crap that I know I have but can't find because the condition of that garage. Also I am not going to spend another winter scraping ice of my windshield because of all the useless crap in their. I am sure my mom will make enough room for her car when winter time comes around...at least she did last year.

Wow...this was one of the coolest trailers I have seen in a long time. I loved the video game, and usually yes video games turned to movie can end up bad..very bad. But this looks very promising. Mark Wahlberg is playing max payne which I think is a great fit. The cinematography in this trailer looked amazing. I can't wait!! Check the link out for the movie maxpaynethemovie

This is a video I made/edited for Motion for one of our series. Clayton one of my good friends is playing Jesus.

I have plans on making more Jesus related films...here are some of my ideas.
1. Jesus as a referee
2. Jesus the soccer coach
3. Jesus as a school bus driver

I know I had more of these but I can't think of any more right now...its late or early depending on how you look at it. If I think of more I will post them. Any ideas are welcome.

My parents always had this rule about getting tattoos while living under their roof. If you get one your out on your own. I respected their wishes and never got a tattoo. Since I just turned 30 and I plan on buying the house I figured its time to get one.

This is the picture of my first tattoo that I have yet to get. I made a deal with myself though before I can get it. I have to get in shape first. On Monday starts my 12 week transformation. I know of course it will go beyond that because being healthy is a lifestyle not a short 12 week diet. I have done many attempts at losing weight and getting the physique that I want, only to gain it all back later. I am ashamed the way I let myself get...I can't even take my shirt off in public. I hate that feeling of not feeling comfortable.

I started to think about how comfortable we are in our lifestyles and how God can teach us when we are out of comfort zone. So on this 12 week journey to becoming physically healthy I also want to move toward becoming more healthy spiritually. I am not sure what that might entail. I just know I have a plan for losing weight and becoming fit so why not have a plan for becoming spiritually fit. I will be thinking about that the next few days and what that means for me.

The uber-geek best known for creating social news site Digg and presenting a gadget-packed video podcast has emerged as an unlikely planet saviour. In a video post on his blog yesterday, Kevin Rose outlined the idea for 'iPower', a system that would automatically save energy by powering your gadgets off when you leave home.

Kevin suggested his energy-saving wheeze could work using an Apple TimeCapsule-style iPower 'base station' that talks to a bundle of wireless plug adapters placed around your home. All this would be connected to an iPhone via the web.

Using the phone's GPS satellite tracking, he suggests it could automatically detect when you've left home. The iPower base station would then switch off all your devices. When the GPS detects you've come home, the system would power up your gadgets without you having to lift a finger.

It's an elegant idea. As several commenters on his blog point out, a similar real world system is the X10 plug system, but from my previous experience it's not what you'd call user-friendly. By contrast, Rose suggests his system would be best designed by Apple. In other words, it should be slick, easy and desirable.

The main reason to buy a real version of iPower would be to save energy and cash. In the UK, the average home allegedly wastes £40 a year just on standby power, which Rose's system would soon put paid to. There's also the geek-your-heart-out home automation aspect of it, which certainly pushes my buttons.

My Thoughts I think this is a great idea but not everyone owns a iphone simply because they can't afford it. It would be better to have some device that communicated with the base station that you kept on you.

After the taste of colerain on Saturday...I took my nieces, my cousin and her bf to go ghost hunting. The first place we went was lick road out behind rumpke dump and close to Munchkin Land. A little side note if you don't know what Munchkin Land is, it is supposed to be where munchkins would run out and throw rocks at your car, bite at your ankles, and shoot cork guns at you. They have torn it down so you can only see where it used to be. So back to lick road, the road itself is freaky...it dead ends into a field with woods behind it. A girl named Amy supposedly was murdered by her boyfriend. You are supposed to hear her scream, your car windows are supposed to fog up and she is supposed to write the word help in the window. None of this stuff happened to us so I remain a disbeliever in ghosts. We did film it though and we thought we noticed something on film but it may have been just a bug.

Then we explored a few other places with no luck and then called it a night. We stayed up all night went to ihop at 7 in the am and then to church but don't ask my niece Sarah what happened in church cause she slept through the whole thing. Luckily we are crossroads and its so big that no one really noticed.

What You Should Know:
My friend Josh and his room mates are cleaning their pool. To avoid getting wet by the pool cleaning devices he dodges the spray only to fall into the pool...classic!

This is what happens at our small group when left with not much to do. We will always find something to amuse ourselves. My only wish is one day I will be as good as Josh at balancing on the swiss ball.
